Hassan Bello alongside the officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) on Monday have taken it upon themselves to inspect the on-, going road constructed work going on along Tin Can Ports access road, for effective trucks movement.

This is also as Presidential Tastforce Team (PTT) on their own debunks blackmail of blocked road with video facts.

According to the two government Agencies, the NSC and FRSC, according to the Shippers Council imagemaker, Rakiya Zubairu embarked on the inspection tour of the Tin Can Island ports access roads just to find out how movement of trucks through road when the project would be completed.

“It would be recalled that the Sippers’ Council boss had last week visited some shipping companies and terminals to discuss, among other things, the effect of the Apapa gridlock on their businesses, particularly in this season”, Zubairu highlighted, noting that “the visit to Tin Can Island was to explore some suggestions made by some terminals on the possibility of opening up certain roads.

On the other hand, the Presidential Task Team, in concert with other relevant government agencies had successfully opened up the roads, the artery blockade of the Tin Can ports access road had made a waste of their entire efforts on that axis.

While the planned strike by members of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) was said to had been suspended following the direct intervention of Hassan Bello, the Nigerian Shippers’ Council boss.
