The National Security Adviser (NSA), General Babagana Mongunu (Rtd.) has regretted the Nigeria has degenerated from a transit hub to into a production domain of drugs in the world.

The NSA also lamented the danger and harmful effect of drug addiction and and trafficking, saying that the issue is currently giving the govern of President Muhammadu Buhari a sleepless night and was one of the major issues the Federal Executive Council (FEC), chaired by the president himself deliberated on at the recent National Security Meeting.

The is coming on the heel of giant moves by the Area ‘B’ Command of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) where the Area Commander, Olasoji Akinbayo, an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ASP), who is currently make great impact and the highest level of intelligence the discharge of his duties as the Area Commander in charge of Area “B” police Command, Apapa, Lagos.
