Maritime Industry Honours Their Own. …As Mrs. Akpan Receives Role Model Award From News Emperor

For Mrs. Anna J. Akpan, she dedicated, distinguished and has within the 33 years she has so as a career woman, has sincerely distinguished herself in this male dominated maritime industry.

She is not only dedicated to her duties at her work place but is also a dedicated wife, mother and an administrator per excellent, who is so committed in whatever she is doing and will always achieves success. This is because she Mrs. Akpan is focus, pragmatic and a result oriented fellow.  She is a no-nonsense fellow, good to go, prompt and active to her duties. Her dedication and commitment to duties is not in doubt at anytime as that rare character has brought her out for reckoning, recognition and for other women and from the male folks to see and emulate.
No wonder this Assistant Director, Shipping Development at the maritime apex regulated body, the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) was chosen for this meritorious honoured. She was painstakingly selected, nominated and openly honoured. She proudly received the award from the management as the News Emperor magazine’s Personality/Role Model Award for the year, 2019.
The shipping Amazon who received the honour at the presence of some of her colleagues and friends who came to witness her celebration, said she was highly elated for the honour bestowed on the  management of Rochword Communication and Media Services, the publishers of News Emperor magazine for selecting singling her out for this prestigious and distinguished award.”I did not know that the the little things I have been doing, people have noticing them particularly the journalists.” 
The personality/role model award bestowed on this humble, quiet but intelligent shipping icon, according to the publisher of News Emperor magazine, Mr. Ambrose Obioma Okehi, was in recognition of her  distinguished contributions to growth and development of the shipping subsector, of the maritime industry of the Nigerian  economy as well as her feminine role model and exemplary lifestyle, which is worthy of emulation by young Nigerian youths.The management of media organization says they wish her more successes in her remaining years in active service to her fatherland.
